Bella View Farm Animal Sanctuary - a 501(c)(3) nonprofit in Franklin, North Carolina, rescuing, rehabilitating, and providing lifelong sanctuary for disabled and special-needs farm animals. Bella View Farm Animal Sanctuary – Franklin, NC

Bella View Farm Animal Sanctuary is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization providing lifelong care, healing, and a permanent loving home for disabled and special-nee

ds baby farm animals — especially baby goats. 🐐

Many of our residents are severely handicapped and require 24/7 care — animals who would otherwise not have a chance at life. We not only give them a happy life, but a quality of life filled with safety, enrichment, and dignity. We are a true sanctuary in every sense — not open to the public, not a petting zoo, and we never exploit our animals for entertainment or commercial purposes. Our mission is to protect and honor their well-being above all else. Bella View Farm is run entirely by volunteers and funded solely by public donations — we have no paid staff. Every cent you give goes directly toward caring for the disabled animals here and helping make room for those waiting to come in. Ways to help:

Some moments at Bella View are wonderfully ordinary—an old pony enjoying his breakfast, a quiet morning, and nowhere else he needs to be. ❤️

Harry is 29 years old now, and these peaceful little moments are exactly what we want for him. Safe, loved and able to spend his days simply being Harry.

We could use another pair of hands at Bella View. ❤️

We’re looking for a reliable local volunteer who could help Sunday or Monday mornings, approximately 8:00–9:30 AM, helping feed breakfast and clean/tidy one shelter area.

It’s not a glamorous job, but mornings like this are a big part of keeping everyone here happy, fed and cared for. 🐐

If you’re 18+, local to Franklin, NC, comfortable around farm animals and interested in making this a regular part of your week, please send us a message and tell us a little about yourself.

Seven years. ❤️

Rocky came to us when he was just two months old with cerebellar hypoplasia. For seven years, we’ve lifted him, supported him, loved him, and helped him simply be a goat.

Happy, happy 7th birthday, Rocky.
I wouldn’t change it for the world. ❤️XOXO

Baby Bear spent a little time with Donny and his friends in the Disabled Barn today.

His little hops were subtle, but knowing everything he has been going through made them incredibly heartwarming to watch. There was our sweet boy, feeling well enough to enjoy his friends and wanting to play in his own gentle way.

Sometimes the smallest moments mean the most. ❤️

No dramatic update today—just the boys happily working their way through breakfast.

There is something wonderfully peaceful about standing in the barn and listening to nothing but goats chomping hay. Full bellies, familiar faces and a Saturday morning at home. ❤️

This is what a $6–$8 donation can do at Bella View. ❤️

One bag of bedding gives Roz a clean, dry and comfortable place to rest. It may seem like a small thing, but with nearly 90 animals depending on us, these everyday supplies are needed again and again.

Small donations truly do make a difference here. If you would like to help provide the next bag, our donation link is in the comments.

Come take a morning walk through the crib area with me. ❤️

Everyone is finishing breakfast in the spaces where they sleep at night. Once breakfast is over, we’ll begin getting each goat ready for the day—some into their chairs and others into the setup that works best for their individual needs.

Nearly 90 animals depend on the everyday routines that keep Bella View running—fresh water, hay, clean living areas and someone taking the time to notice that everyone is safe and doing well.

We are looking for dependable local volunteers who can commit to one consistent morning each week from 9:00 a.m. to noon. Our current needs are Tuesday, Wednesday and Saturday.

This is not a drop-in opportunity. Consistency matters because the animals need the same care every week, whether it is sunny, raining, hot or cold.

If you are 18 or older, live near Franklin, North Carolina, and are ready to become a reliable part of their care, please complete our volunteer application. The link is in the comments. ❤️
