We’re excited to officially welcome Meredith Jackson-deGraffenried to the Vecinos team as our new Chief Operating Officer!

Meredith brings a wealth of experience in international health systems, cross-cultural team management, and a strong background in medical anthropology. Her leadership is rooted in operational excellence, culturally responsive nonprofit management, and a deep commitment to advancing immigrant justice and community-driven services.

Working alongside our Executive Director and Board, Meredith will help lead Vecinos into our next chapter of growth and impact. We are so grateful to have her on our team and can’t wait for our community to get to know her! 💙

Another amazing opportunity for WNC nonprofits. Check it out!

Dogwood Health Trust announced the Stronger Organizations grant, open January 20–February 17. The grant offers up to two years of flexible funding to support nonprofit operations in the wake of Helene.

Two additional grant opportunities — Organizational Capacity Building and Collaboration & Innovation — will open in April. The Leverage Fund and Grants Help Desk resources are also available to support applicants.
