🎓 TODAY WAS AN AHA MOMENT!
Today, families walked away with more than scholarship tips. They walked away with a new perspective on what is possible.
Mina shared his journey toward his goal of becoming a trauma surgeon with the Dr Levi Watkins program at Tennessee State University as a 2026 Cohort Student. The number that got everyone’s attention: over $1.8 MILLION in scholarships! 💰🎓He gave students and families an honest look at the preparation, discipline, and intentional choices it took to prepare for the road ahead.
But what stood out most was hearing the why behind his success. Mina shared stories of choosing to miss wrestling practice or a fun activity because an application deadline came first. He talked openly about vulnerability and the importance of showing admissions committees who you are, what you stand for, and what makes your story uniquely yours.
His maturity, kindness, resourcefulness, and authenticity were evident throughout the conversation. And families saw firsthand how learning to write impactful college essays can become a powerful tool for telling your story and opening doors.
