Frankenmuth Women's Club members Carole Steinbauer and Sue Cederberg were guest presenters the May 20, 2026 meeting. Carole shared the history of the club and its cultural, social and educational impact on our community. Sue spoke about the history of the Palmer Schau Platz Bandshell and the club's "Raise the Roof" fundraising campaign to replace the existing roof. After their presentation, Lion Club members who are also Women's Club members, gathered for a photo.

Michelle Duclos, Frankenmuth Wickson District Library Director, was guest speaker at the May 6, 2026 meeting, Members were impressed at the wide variety of services and programs the library offers. Michelle also informed the club that the library will be on the August ballot for a mileage which will enable them to continue programming and fund many necessary structural updates and improvements on the 50 year old building.

Spring 2026 Highway Cleanup was held on Monday, April 27, 2026 with the cleanup occurring along Highway M-83. The Frankenmuth Lions Club takes care of this three-mile stretch starting at the corner of Baker Road going north to M-46. Pictured from left to right are the following Lion members and volunteers: Rick & Sheri Stoner, Amy Smock, Jeanne Sanborn, Carol & Craig Banes, Connie Bierlein, Cassie Cirisan, Don Zoller, Mary Weiss, Bart Blegen, Tom Baker, & Lion Chairman Jeff Cirisan. Our Lions Club takes care of the Highway M-83 cleanup in the spring and fall every year. Frankenmuth Lions HIGHWAY CLEANUP SPRING 2026 was organized by Lions Jeff and Cassie Cirisan.
