We are deeply saddened by the passing of our former board member, Bill Spike.

Bill was a life long soybean advocate and served on the MSA board from 2011-2019, including the role as Treasurer.

We extend our sincere condolences to his family, friends and loved ones during this difficult time.

Happening now at the Great Lakes Sustainable Fuels Symposium: a conversation about how Michigan agriculture can help supply the growing sustainable fuels market.

Tom Woelmer of the Michigan Soybean Association is moderating a panel with Ben Steyer, CEO of the Michigan Soybean Association; Scott Piggott, Executive Director of Michigan Corn; and Doug Berven, Vice President of Corporate Affairs at POET.

They’re talking about the corn, soybeans and other agricultural products needed to produce sustainable fuels, the demand that could create new markets for Michigan farmers, and what it will take to build a strong supply chain here in the Great Lakes region.
