I'm grateful for your support - we have a vibrant community and I'm glad to be part of it!

Unfortunately, I have decided to end my campaign for school board. Life has a funny way of directing you to the places you need to be, and taking you out of things that aren't meant to be at that moment.

However, there are many great candidates running, and I urge you to get to their Meet and Greet events so you can decide which three will best serve students in Frankenmuth - as a Place for All.

As I said, I'm so grateful for your support and kindness. Please get involved with the schools - attend a school board meeting (2nd Monday of the month at 6PM), ask questions, let your voice be heard as a stakeholder in our school community!

And, most importantly, GO VOTE! Update your registration, or register for the first time. Make a plan to vote - by absentee ballot, early voting, or on Nov. 5th.

Frankenmuth School District has a proven record of excellence, and I am excited to advance this legacy as a school board member. Together, we can ensure that every student benefits from the opportunities they deserve and that our commitment to excellence continues to thrive in the future.

Much appreciation to those who allowed me to put a sign in their yard! I'm collecting them today and tomorrow (Thurs and Fri).

If they're in your yard still, I'll pull them. If you've already taken it out of your yard, please leave it near your house so I can grab it, or please drop it by my house if you can.

I am so grateful for your support these past few months. Though I didn't win a seat on the board, I believe the new members will support the purpose of public education and do what's best for students! Thank you for the amazing turnout, your texts, messages, and personal conversations - it was a great experience.

Looking forward to supporting the new school board members. Let's show up to school board meetings and stay involved!

Tomorrow is the day - please make sure you VOTE!

When the votes are tallied, four candidates will be named School Board members.

As you choose which bubbles to fill in on your ballot, be sure you know those candidates' motives, desires, knowledge of school business, and ability to lead.

I do not have a personal agenda or other motive to be on the school board. I simply want to help our district provide a safe place, plenty of opportunity to meet student needs, and continue our tradition of excellence in education.

I believe in public education - that all kids be given equal educational opportunity no matter what their race, ethnic background, religion, or s*x, or whether they are rich or poor, citizen or non-citizen.

I have experience inside schools and understand the purpose and activities of a public school.

I also understand the role of the school board: hire and evaluate the superintendent, approve the budget, and guide policy of the district.

I will always consider what's best for all kids when making decisions. Always.

As you fill in those circles on the ballot, choose people who have experience in schools, experience in leading, will do what's best for kids.
