During Pride Month, we're highlighting the important work of our behavioral health partner, Spectrum Health Systems, and raising awareness about how addiction impacts the LGBTQ+ community.

Research shows that LGBTQ+ individuals experience higher rates of substance use disorders than the general population, often due to factors such as stigma, discrimination, social isolation, and barriers to affirming healthcare. These challenges can have a significant impact on mental health and well-being, making access to compassionate, inclusive support more important than ever.

Everyone deserves to feel seen, respected, and supported on their path to recovery. By increasing awareness and connecting people to affirming behavioral health services, we can help create healthier communities where all individuals have the opportunity to thrive. πŸ’™πŸŒˆ To learn more, click to their website https://buff.ly/y3ceIYO

Thank You, Framingham! πŸ’™

We're grateful to everyone who joined us for the MetroWest Care Connection Downtown Framingham Resource Fair on June 2.

With more than 40 organizations sharing resources and an estimated 150+ community members attending, the event was a wonderful opportunity to connect people with services, build trust, and strengthen community partnerships.

Thank you to our sponsors, providers, community organizations, and attendees for helping make this semi-annual event such a success. Together, we're creating a healthier, more connected MetroWest community.
