The FCFR are dedicated to providing quality emergency medical service to Fountain City and the surrounding areas prior to ambulance arrival.

Today, we honor and recognize the heroes who answer the call when others need help the most.

To every firefighter, police officer, EMT, paramedic, dispatcher, and first responder who runs toward the emergencies others run from, we THANK YOU!

Your selfless dedication, courage, and willingness to serve others do not go unnoticed. Behind every call is a person, a family, and a community counting on you. The sacrifices you make, the lives you touch, and the comfort you bring during some of life's most difficult moments mean more than words can express.

Thank you for showing up, stepping in, and making a difference. Often without recognition or thanks. Today and every day, we appreciate you, we respect you, and we are grateful for all you do.

To all our First Responders: please know that your service matters, your sacrifices matter, and YOU matter.

WE HAVE EXCITING NEWS TO SHARE!

Have you been thinking about becoming a First Responder and making a difference in your community?

We’re excited to announce that we’re hosting a local EMR class through Western Technical College (WTC) right here in Fountain City! This is a great opportunity to learn new skills, help those in need, and take the first step toward becoming a First Responder.

We welcome surrounding communities to join us! Please share this post with friends, family, and anyone who might be interested. You never know who might be ready to take that next step and make a difference in their community.

Are you interested in becoming a First Responder or have questions about getting involved? We’d love to hear from you!

We are currently looking for individuals who are interested in taking an upcoming First Responder/EMR class. If we have enough interest, our goal is to host the class locally, giving you the opportunity to attend right here in our community rather than traveling to La Crosse.

We enjoyed the pizza and cookies during our meeting, it was a great way to refuel and connect after a busy day. Gestures like this mean more than you know and remind us how fortunate we are to serve such a supportive community.
