✨ Rotarian Spotlight: Bailey Bishop ✨

This month, we’re excited to spotlight Bailey Bishop, Marketing Liaison with Columbus Hospice and a member of Rotary Club of North Columbus since 2025!

Bailey joined NCRC because of the welcoming spirit she felt from the very beginning and the genuine care our members have for one another and for making a difference in the community. Her favorite part of Rotary is getting to know people from all walks of life who share that same heart for service. 💙

Outside of Rotary and work, Bailey enjoys reading, yoga, mahjong, hosting friends for game nights, and cooking with her fiancée.

We’re so glad to have Bailey as part of North Columbus Rotary and love getting to know the people behind the service!

October is shaping up to be a busy month for the Rotary Club of North Columbus! 🍂💙

In this month’s newsletter, we’re celebrating our members in action, from serving throughout the Chattahoochee Valley during United Way Day to helping our GRSP students experience a little Georgia hospitality. We’re also spotlighting Rotarian Bailey Bishop, looking ahead to our October service project and social, and recognizing World Polio Day on October 24.

At the heart of it all is what Rotary does best: building friendships, serving our community and making a difference both here at home and around the world.

Take a look through our October newsletter to see what the Rotary Club of North Columbus has been up to and what’s ahead this month!

A great day of service for North Columbus Rotary. 💙💛

On September 15, Club President Shamim and Service Projects Chair Angela Gallops spent time at Dorothy Heights Elementary School helping assemble take-home kits designed to encourage fun, meaningful conversations among family members.

We’re grateful to United Way of the Chattahoochee Valley for organizing this project and giving our club another opportunity to serve in a hands-on way.

We always enjoy opportunities to come together, support our community, and make a positive impact!

Peacebuilding can look a lot like this. 💙✌️

Serving together. Showing up for our community. Building friendships. Sharing a few laughs. And doing our part to make Columbus a little better along the way.

On this International Day of Peace, we’re celebrating the idea that peace isn’t only built through big moments—it’s built every day through connection, kindness, service, and people willing to work together.

That’s something North Columbus Rotarians know a little bit about. 😉

We’re proud to be People of Action, proud to be peacebuilders, and very proud to have a good time while doing some good.

Here’s to more service, more fellowship, more connection, and more peace—right here at home and around the world. 🌍
