Standing Boy Trails A multi-use trail system in north Columbus, GA. Standing Boy Trails are managed by Standing Boy, Inc., a 501(c)(3). Please consider donating today!

These trails are the result of volunteer efforts and were constructed with private dollars. Our Mission:

Standing Boy, Inc. exists to
- First, protect and preserve the natural beauty and abundant resources of the Standing Boy Creek Preserve for the benefit of present and future generations;
- Second, create, maintain, and manage a spectacular natural-surface trail system that is consistent with t

he natural state of the Preserve; and
- Third, leverage the natural beauty of the Preserve and the trail system to
(1) support sound forestry management and ecological practices on the Preserve,
(2) foster healthier, happier lives through physical activity in a natural environment,

We’re grateful for all the participants who experienced their race last fall, and we’re especially excited to highlight their upcoming Standing Boy Trail Festival, coming to the trails this September. From the Night-Time Vertical 5K to the 10 Miler, Canicross, and 50K, it’s a fantastic chance to experience everything that makes Standing Boy special. The event is designed to showcase the beauty, flow, and challenge of our trail system while bringing runners from across the region to Columbus.

Sponsor Spotlight: Brickyard Bikes

Huge thanks to Brickyard Bikes for being a sponsor of Standing Boy Trails and continuing to support our local trail community. Their team has consistently supported local riders, trail advocacy, and events that help grow mountain biking in our area, and we’re grateful for their partnership.

We’re also excited that Brickyard Bikes will be bringing a fleet of demo bikes to the Trail Festival on June 20! Whether you’re interested in trying a different style of bike, checking out new technology, or just getting a feel for a new ride on the trails, they’ll have bikes ready to roll throughout the day.

New to mountain biking? Beginner-friendly guided rides will be happening all day, making this a great opportunity for riders of all levels to join in and experience the trails.
