Thank you to everyone who joined us for the 31st Annual Greater Columbus Home Builders Association Legislative Fish Fry!

The event brought together builders, associate members, elected and appointed officials, community leaders, and industry partners for an evening of great food, valuable conversations, and connection.

Events like the this are an important part of GCHBA’s mission. They give our members an opportunity to build relationships with the people making decisions that affect housing, development, growth, and the future of our industry and community.

A special thank you to our Presenting Sponsor, 84 Lumber, Acme Brick, Proverb Insurance, Georgia Power, Valley Fir, and to River City Door Company for hosting us and 219 Food and Spirits for catering.

We were also pleased to welcome Karl Eckhart with the National Association of Home Builders, HBAG President Mark Ivy, and the many local and state leaders. It was a great night of advocating for the housing industry in the Greater Columbus area.

We were so proud to be a part of sharing this project with our members and the community. Harley and Elizabeth Hoad of Bibb City Holding Co. are GCHBA members and we couldn't be more proud of the new life they have given the Historic Bibb City Schoolhouse.

“The project is a wonderful example of what can happen when historic preservation and talents of the local building industry come together.”

NAHB Association Management Conference 2026 is a wrap. Always such a great opportunity for HBA staff to explore new resources, learn, connect with fellow HBA professionals from across the country, share ideas, and bring home new inspiration to help us continue growing and strengthening our association.

We are grateful for the opportunity to invest in our HBA, our members, and the communities we are so proud to serve.
