👢NMHE Shoe Drive has started!
👟Men’s, Women’s, and Children’s sizes in any condition! Drop off at NMHE Nov.1-30th
🥿Did you know that each year more than 350 million pairs of shoes are tossed in our landfills for a resting place? Also, did you know it takes about 1,000 years for most shoes to decompose?
👞The Keep Columbus Beautiful Commission is launching a Shoe Recycling Campaign to divert shoes from our landfill and reuse them by sending them to developing countries (Haiti, Swaziland, Togo, and Honduras).
👠Our overall goal is to engage community businesses, organizations, and churches to help collect 30,000 pairs of shoes.

🤩 WOW, NMHE Community!! We surpassed our goal of 1,500 items and are able to donate 3,432 items to FOCUS!!
🥫Reveur was the winning House with 986 items!

⛺Mrs. King's Class donated 915 items and won a s'mores campout party!
🍩Mrs. Giles' 2nd Grade Class donated 828 items and won donuts!
🍭Mrs. Davis' 2nd Grade Class donated 292 items and won a jar of candy!
