First Command Educational Foundation (FCEF) is a 501(c)(3) public charity dedicated to empowering military families to build lasting legacies through education. Since 1983, FCEF has supported the military community by providing over 5.6 million dollars in scholarships.

- We award an average of $125,000 annually in scholarships

- We partner with military affiliated community organizations to supp

ort their scholarship programs through the Carroll H. Payne Scholarship Program

- In 2025, we launched our Military Spouse Scholarship Program; supporting the educational goals of military spouses

- We manage and administer seven scholarship endowments; honoring the legacies of loved ones through scholarships

🎉 Congratulations to Lauren Sutterfield Fleming on her CHP Scholarship Award! 🎉

Lauren is pursuing her Bachelor of Science in Nursing at the University of West Florida while making a meaningful impact in her community. She is actively involved in a philanthropic sorority focused on domestic violence awareness and prevention and volunteers with Habitat for Humanity.

Lauren shared this scholarship allows her to work fewer hours while completing her degree — helping her graduate without student loan debt.

We proudly support Lauren as she pursues her passion for serving others through nursing. Join us in congratulating her on this incredible achievement! 🎓💙

💰 This merit-based scholarship awards $4,000 annually to an outstanding student.

✅ Applicants must be:
• 🎖️ Dependents of active-duty service members
• 🏫 High school or college students
• 🎓 Pursuing undergraduate programs or vocational education

📋 Application Criteria:
• 📄 Copy of current transcript
• ✉️ Two letters of recommendation
