🔎 October Scavenger Hunt Challenge!
This month, we’re hunting for sheet sets and towel sets! 🛏️🛁

We gave out 26 Start-Up Kits in September, which means it’s time to fill those shelves again!

Next time you’re shopping, add a set to your cart and help us welcome a neighbor home with a few of the essentials that make a house feel more comfortable. 💛

Hope showed up in so many ways at First Street Methodist Mission this September. In a sack lunch, groceries for the week, a helping hand, a listening ear, and neighbors caring for neighbors.

We’re grateful for every volunteer, donor, partner, and friend who helps make these moments possible. Together, we’re reminding our neighbors that they are seen, valued, and not alone. 💛

A new week means new opportunities to serve, connect, and care for our neighbors. ❤️
Whether you’re coming by for groceries, a meal, support, or simply a welcoming place to connect, we’re glad to be here for you. If you know someone who could benefit from the Mission’s services, please share this post and help us spread the word.

Together, we’re building a community where our neighbors know they are seen, valued, and not alone.

What an incredible gift!

We are so grateful to the residents of Stevenson Oaks for creating mats for our unsheltered guests. Each mat uses approximately 11,900 recycled plastic grocery bags!

Thank you for turning something so ordinary into a meaningful gift of care for our neighbors. We appreciate the creativity, generosity and heart for our community!

🏠 Let’s help our neighbors feel at home!

Donate new or gently used sheet sets and towel sets for the Mission’s Start-Up Kits. Your gift helps neighbors moving from homelessness into housing begin their next chapter with comfort and dignity.

Donate today and help us say, “Welcome home!” ❤️

💙Hard at work and making a difference!

Our Lived Experience Committee is hard at work sharing ideas, perspectives, and insight to help strengthen our work in the community.

We are thankful for their commitment to making our mission stronger. Lived experience matters. Voices matter. Community matters.

✨Thank you, donors! Thanks to your incredible generosity, we've reached 60% of our goal!

Every gift helps provide meals, resources, and compassionate support to neighbors experiencing food insecurity, financial hardship, and homelessness.

We're more than half way there, and together we can finish strong!
