Don’t let that face fool you.

Gizmo may look like he just received some very upsetting news, but this 6-month-old Bulldog mix is actually one of the happiest, wiggliest little guys you’ll ever meet! Gizmo has perfected the art of looking absolutely heartbroken while simultaneously wagging his entire body, bouncing around, and having the time of his life. Seriously, his face says, “Nobody has ever loved me.” His personality says, “OMG HI HI HI LET’S PLAY!!!” At just 6 months old, Gizmo is a fun-loving puppy who is ready to experience everything life has to offer. He’s goofy, affectionate, playful, and full of that adorable puppy energy that makes you laugh even when you’re trying not to. He may always look like he’s contemplating the meaning of life, but we promise — Gizmo is happy. Very, very happy. He’s just got a face that didn’t get the memo. If you’re looking for a silly, sweet, wiggly little companion who will keep you smiling, Gizmo is your guy! He is current on shots and flea/tick/heartworm preventative and is microchipped and will be neutered prior to adoption.

🎒📚 BACK TO SCHOOL… BUT MAKE IT ADOPTION! 🐾✏️

The kids are heading back to class, so we figured it’s only fair that our rescue dogs get their own school assignments too. 😂

🐶 Math: Calculating exactly how many treats they deserve.
🐶 Science: Testing whether the couch is actually more comfortable than the dog bed.
🐶 Gym: Zoomies. Lots and lots of zoomies.
🐶 Lunch: Their favorite subject. Obviously.
🐶 Recess: Also their favorite subject.
🐶 Homework: Finding a FOREVER HOME. ❤️

Unfortunately, most of our students are currently failing that last assignment… and they need YOUR help!

So while you’re buying backpacks, pencils, and glue sticks, maybe consider adding a new best friend to your family this school year. 🥹🐾

🍎 No straight A’s required.
✏️ Some may need a little tutoring.
😂 A few have definitely been sent to the principal’s office for being the class clown!
❤️ But every single one deserves someone who will love them exactly as they are.

There’s something special about simply sitting with a dog. ❤️🐾

Many of our rescue dogs have never known what it’s like to simply sit beside someone who loves them. Sometimes the greatest gift we can give them isn’t another toy or another walk—it’s quiet companionship. A place where they can learn to trust, feel safe, and just be.

We’re raising funds to add Buddy Benches throughout our play yard so volunteers can spend one-on-one time with our rescue dogs. Whether it’s reading a book, enjoying a cup of coffee, or simply sitting in silence, these moments help fearful dogs build confidence, heal from past trauma, and prepare for their forever homes.

🚨 Warning: Keaton is powered by zoomies, optimism, and sled dog type enthusiasm for the next adventure. 🚨

Whether it’s hiking, running, playing fetch, exploring every inch of the backyard, or simply reminding you that squirrels still exist, Keaton is always ready for the next adventure. If you’re looking for a couch potato… well… he can certainly jump over your couch.

Keaton is the kind of dog who wakes up every morning convinced it’s the BEST DAY EVER. His enthusiasm is contagious, his goofy personality will keep you laughing, and his handsome Husky good looks don’t hurt either.

Like many Huskies, Keaton has a healthy appreciation for things that move quickly, which means he’d prefer a home without cats. He’ll also need a securely fenced yard where he can safely stretch his legs, burn off that Husky energy, and satisfy his curiosity without setting off on an unauthorized neighborhood expedition.
