Hello, Angel Community! 👋
Fort Scott High School Angel Tree is happy to announce it is back this holiday season for the 5th year in a row! 🤗
The holiday season is supposed to be a magical time of happiness spent with friends and family; unfortunately, this is not the case for many families. Often, families are left feeling stressed due to financial burdens. The Angel Tree is here to help relieve some of that stress! 😇
The Angel Tree allows community members to anonymously “adopt” an angel (student) in our district who may be in need of holiday gifts this season. 🎅
❔Do you know someone who could benefit from this program?
If you are interested in applying for assistance for your family (student enrolled at USD 234 along with their siblings) for the FSHS Angel Tree Program, know that these applications will be available in the Fort Scott High School’s office and on our page from November 6th through November 21st. If you submit an online application, please check your email for a copy of the response form to ensure it was submitted.
While we have a wonderful community of “Angels,” we are a small, volunteer-based program. We kindly ask that if you or a loved one are already enrolled in a holiday gift assistance program, you respect others by reserving applications for those who are not yet receiving any holiday support.
👉Would you like to adopt an “Angel”?:
Email [email protected] or stop by Fort Scott High School’s office between November 10th and December 10th, during our office hours, to pick an “Angel” from the tree. You will also need to fill out a brief contact form. This form will issue your child a code to ensure anonymity and track the “Angels” (located on the Angel Tree). Additionally, to ensure fairness, we are limiting gifts to four per child.
👉Would you like to Donate?:
If you are interested and would like to make a cash donation to help cover the costs of gifts for “Angels” still needing to be adopted, you can drop them off at the FSHS office or send a donation via Venmo to .
Fort Scott High School Angel Tree is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. If you donate, you may ask for a receipt for tax purposes.
To preserve confidentiality, please do not post names directly to this page.
If you email or send a direct message, you can expect a response within 24 hours. We are school employees and may not be available right away. We will do our best to answer your questions as soon as possible.
Thank you, Tiger Community!
