FSHS Angel Tree

FSHS Angel Tree Angel Tree is sponsored through FSHS to help children in need during the holiday season. Welcome to the FSHS Angel Tree page!

The purpose of this page is to inform the public of ways they can support kids in need in our community during the holiday season. The Angel Tree is located in the FSHS office. If you are interested in "adopting" child(ren) send an email to [email protected] or stop by the FSHS office during normal school hours to pick an angel tree ornament. If you are interested in donating wrapping paper or

money to cover gifts for kids still on our angel tree, you can drop off at FSHS office or Venmo. If you or a family you know is in need this holiday season, please email. To preserve confidentiality, please do not post names directly to this page.

As we roll into December, we still have close to 20 kids that have still not been selected.

In past years we have had donations to cover students who have not yet been adopted by our community.

🥰If you feel it in your heart to help, please consider donating to ensure all students have presents under the tree.

🤗If you are unable to donate, please consider sharing!

We thank you all for all of the support you have shown this program the past five years. ❤️ 🐾 🎄

Going shopping this weekend? 🛍️

This tree is filling up fast! 🎄

There is one more day this week (Friday) to swing by the Fort Scott High School office and adopt a child for the holiday season!

We are asking donators to purchase 4 gifts for students to have placed under their tree this year.

If you’re unable to adopt but still want to help, please consider sharing this post!

😇 Fort Scott Angel Tree Community 😇

The holiday season is just around the corner, and we are excited to announce that our Angel Tree program is officially up and running for the 5th year!

This year, we’re looking for kind-hearted community members to help make the holidays a little brighter for local students and families in need. 🎁 💫

If you are able, here is how you can help:

1. Adopt a Student: Pick a tag from the tree and provide gifts that will bring joy and smiles to a child this season. Please follow the instructions on the tag 🥰

2. Spread the Love: Share this post and encourage friends, family, and colleagues to get involved too! 🤝

Your generosity can make a huge difference in a student’s life this holiday season. To adopt a student, please visit FSHS’s front office or reach out to us on our page!

Let’s come together as a community to spread love and kindness! ❤️

Hello, Angel Community! 👋

Fort Scott High School Angel Tree is happy to announce it is back this holiday season for the 5th year in a row! 🤗

The holiday season is supposed to be a magical time of happiness spent with friends and family; unfortunately, this is not the case for many families. Often, families are left feeling stressed due to financial burdens. The Angel Tree is here to help relieve some of that stress! 😇

The Angel Tree allows community members to anonymously “adopt” an angel (student) in our district who may be in need of holiday gifts this season. 🎅

❔Do you know someone who could benefit from this program?
If you are interested in applying for assistance for your family (student enrolled at USD 234 along with their siblings) for the FSHS Angel Tree Program, know that these applications will be available in the Fort Scott High School’s office and on our page from November 6th through November 21st. If you submit an online application, please check your email for a copy of the response form to ensure it was submitted.

While we have a wonderful community of “Angels,” we are a small, volunteer-based program. We kindly ask that if you or a loved one are already enrolled in a holiday gift assistance program, you respect others by reserving applications for those who are not yet receiving any holiday support.

👉Would you like to adopt an “Angel”?:
Email [email protected] or stop by Fort Scott High School’s office between November 10th and December 10th, during our office hours, to pick an “Angel” from the tree. You will also need to fill out a brief contact form. This form will issue your child a code to ensure anonymity and track the “Angels” (located on the Angel Tree). Additionally, to ensure fairness, we are limiting gifts to four per child.

👉Would you like to Donate?:
If you are interested and would like to make a cash donation to help cover the costs of gifts for “Angels” still needing to be adopted, you can drop them off at the FSHS office or send a donation via Venmo to .
Fort Scott High School Angel Tree is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. If you donate, you may ask for a receipt for tax purposes.

To preserve confidentiality, please do not post names directly to this page.

If you email or send a direct message, you can expect a response within 24 hours. We are school employees and may not be available right away. We will do our best to answer your questions as soon as possible.

Thank you, Tiger Community!

Fort Scott, Kansas: our 4th year was our largest year yet!!

With help from our community members, FS businesses, USD234 staff, and student clubs/organizations, we were able to provide gifts for 130 students! 🤯

🤩 This helped relieve the financial burden of the holidays for 55 families in our community.

🥰 We are extending a HUGE thank you to those who made this possible whether that be through adopting a student, donating money or materials towards this program, helping wrap 595+ presents, or by simply sharing information about the FSHS Angel Tree.

We THANK YOU!! This would not be possible without you!

Happy Holidays!!
