Did you know you can support our Veterans while potentially reducing your taxes? 🇺🇸✈️

If you're 70½ or older and have an IRA, you may be eligible to make a Qualified Charitable Distribution (QCD) directly from your IRA to Honor Flight Southeast Kansas.

A QCD allows eligible donors to:
✅ Support our mission of honoring Veterans.
✅ Satisfy all or part of their Required Minimum Distribution (RMD), if applicable.
✅ Potentially avoid paying federal income tax on the amount donated.*

Every dollar helps us provide our Veterans with the unforgettable Honor Flight experience they've earned through their service.

If you're planning your charitable giving this year, consider making a QCD to Honor Flight Southeast Kansas. It's a meaningful way to invest in those who have served our nation.

Questions? We'd be happy to visit with you or your financial advisor about making a Qualified Charitable Distribution.

We are so close to goal 1. Help us cross the finish line for all 74 of our Veteran & Guardian pairs . . . And then be prepared for me to change the goal!! 😂💰

Time is running out so let’s do this 🇺🇸❤️🇺🇸

Update: $900 from goal 1 - let’s rock this!! We are just $1,200 from our first goal (because you know I’m going to change the goal when we meet it).

When we hit the first goal, that’s $300 towards each bus on the trip —
$300X3 =$900.00!!

Let’s do this . . . our annual Pampered Chef online party to benefit our hub!!

Are we a little crazy... or just incredibly passionate? 🤔✈️

We'll let you decide!

Here's how this all happened...

In June 2025, we knew we wanted to do more—to create even more unforgettable experiences for our Veterans. So we invited Fort Scott High School to join our hub, instantly doubling the number of people involved in our mission.

Then reality hit...

Have you ever tried booking 112 seats on the same commercial flight? 😳

After an incredible 2026 Mission with students from Parsons, Chetopa, St. Paul, and Fort Scott honoring our Veterans, we came home and immediately started exploring affordable charter flights.

The charter solved one problem... but created another.

We had 57 empty seats.

So, what did we do?

We invited Caney High School to join the mission!

In just 14 months, we've grown from serving 24 Veterans to planning an unforgettable experience for 74 Veterans in 2027. That's the kind of growth that happens when communities come together around a shared purpose.

With at least five high schools now working side-by-side to honor those who served, it was time for a name that reflects who we are today.

✨ Now DBA ... HONOR FLIGHT SOUTHEAST KANSAS! 🇺🇸

A new name. A bigger mission. The same commitment to giving our Veterans the honor they deserve.

The best is yet to come.
