❤️🤍💙We are proud to be recognized as a Blue Star Museum. Active duty military personnel and their families are invited to visit the Manatee Center at no cost as a token of our gratitude for their service.

The free admission program is available for those currently serving in the United States Military—Air Force, Army, Coast Guard, Marine Corps, Navy, and Space Force, members of the Reserves, National Guard, U.S. Public Health Commissioned Corps, NOAA Commissioned Corps, and up to five family members. Qualified members must show a Geneva Convention common access card (CAC), DD Form 1173 ID card (dependent ID), or a DD Form 1173-1 ID card for entrance into a participating Blue Star Museum.

We also extend our appreciation to veterans—please present your ID to receive a discount for your entire party. Blue Star Museums is a collaboration among the National Endowment for the Arts, Blue Star Families, the Department of Defense, and museums across America. St. Lucie County’s 11th and 12th graders swung by our Manatee Center table looking for interviews, internships, job skills, and volunteer options! These students are awesome volunteers and future manatee advocates!

Shoutout to TCEED / St Lucie EDC and a big thanks to Anita Fischer for the invite!

When you visit "pay beach," you're in for a treat! We’ll be there showcasing the incredible gentle giants of the Treasure Coast—the manatees!

We are grateful that Fort Pierce Inlet invited the Manatee Center to come present on site at the park.
