CALL FOR ART: PHOTOGRAPHERS WANTED!

Your Photography Could Take Flight at Treasure Coast Airport!

Calling all Treasure Coast photographers! The St. Lucie Cultural Alliance is looking for stunning photography to transform a utility box at Treasure Coast Airport into an extraordinary work of public art!

This is your opportunity to showcase your creativity, share your unique perspective, and have your photography featured in a highly visible public space for residents and visitors to enjoy.
Aviation-themed photography is encouraged, but not required! While airplanes, flight, aviation history, and the spirit of travel would be a natural fit for this location, we don't want to limit your imagination.

Have an incredible landscape? A breathtaking wildlife shot? A photograph that captures the beauty, energy, or character of the Treasure Coast?

We want to see your BEST shot!

The selected photograph will be reproduced as a professionally installed wrap on an FPUA utility box, turning everyday infrastructure into a vibrant piece of public art.

Submission Information
• Who Can Apply: Photographers of all experience levels.
• Theme: Open theme. Aviation-related images are welcome but not required.
• Artwork: Original photography suitable for reproduction as a large-format utility box wrap.
• Location: Treasure Coast Airport, Fort Pierce, Florida.
• Submission Deadline: November 13, 2026
• How to Submit: https://www.cognitoforms.com/StLucieCultur.../StLucieAirport

Let Your Creativity Soar!

Public art has the power to transform spaces, spark conversations, and celebrate the creative talent in our community.

One photograph. One utility box. One opportunity to make a lasting impression.

Submit your best photograph and help us bring more art to unexpected places throughout St. Lucie County!

I enjoy when these two ladies come to the studio to create fun projects! These stepping stones were a lot of work, but I think they both did an amazing job.

CALL FOR ART: HIDDEN IN PLAIN SIGHT

Sometimes the most extraordinary parts of nature are the ones we rarely notice.

The St. Lucie Cultural Alliance invites artists to submit work for "Hidden in Plain Sight," an exhibition at the Oxbow Eco Center celebrating the smaller, overlooked wonders of Florida's natural world.

Tiny insects. Delicate fungi. Animal tracks. Nests. Textures. Patterns. Hidden habitats. This exhibition challenges artists and visitors alike to slow down, look closer, and discover the remarkable details hiding all around us.

Artists are encouraged to interpret the theme creatively and shine a spotlight on the parts of nature that are easy to miss.

SUBMISSION DEADLINE: NOVEMBER 8

Cultural Alliance members receive preference.

🎨 LOCAL ARTISTS. BIG HEARTS. LASTING IMPACT! ❤️

Art is more than something beautiful to look at. It’s a powerful way to bring people together, support important causes, and make a difference in our community!

We’re proud to see St. Lucie Cultural Alliance artists Aurora Marie, Ashley Moler, and Lisa Jill Allison using their creativity and generosity to support United Against Poverty.

From transforming ordinary umbrellas into extraordinary works of art to donating original paintings for a fundraising auction, these talented artists are proving that creativity can change lives!

📰 Check out this article in today’s TC Palm Luminaries to discover how our local artists are giving back and why supporting the arts means supporting our entire community!

At the St. Lucie Cultural Alliance, we believe art doesn’t just enrich our community. It helps build a stronger one.
