After 13 years in business, yes RAS marine fish hatcheries can be and are profitable or I wouldn’t still be here in business with no debt.

A reminder to read whole studies including their methodology not just their conclusions.

I have already followed up with the authors, they submitted and published this work a while ago.

Discussions are open to hopefully bring real data to aquaculture economics because without it we will never get the government, banks, or investors to help build our industry after conclusions like this.
