The Tom Flores High School Coach of the Year program promotes high school football, giving high school coaches and teams the recognition that they deserve. Each recipient will be awarded a $2,000 donation to the school’s football program from The Las Vegas Raiders and the NFL Foundation.

The Las Vegas Raiders named Coach Brent Lewis from Moapa Valley High School the 2022 Tom Flores Coach of the Year. Coach Lewis led the Pirates to an undefeated 10-0 regular season and the number 1 seed in the 3A Southern Region.

Albert Wilson Foundation founder took some time to talk to the student athletes about their accomplishments on the field and offer them words of encouragement.

In his 20th season at Moapa Valley, Coach Lewis has led the pirates to 23 straight wins before falling short of their second consecutive Nevada 3A State Championship.

Congrats to Coach Lewis on another successful season and for being named the 2022 Tom Flores High School Coach of the Year!
