Our mission is to show His goodness by helping the hurting when life's hardest challenges arise while demonstrating God's goodness through ministry and consistency. Our mission is to show His goodness by helping the hurting when life's hardest challenges arise while demonstrating God's goodness through ministry and consistency.

During hard seasons of life, we respond with caring, effective, and

locally-focused programs. We meet the immediate needs of those we serve and implement a care plan for long term needs. We love to empower our partners to truly be the hands and feet of Jesus to the least of these.

Meet Maxine ❤️

For Maxine, volunteering at Marked For Life is about making a difference in the lives of others.

She loves to cook, and preparing meals throughout the week is one of the ways she serves with purpose. We’re so thankful for her servant’s heart and the love she pours into our community every day.

A room full of men committed to growth, accountability, and God’s Word.

One lesson at a time. One day at a time. One life at a time.

Thank you for praying for the men of Hope House as they continue their journey toward restoration.

“Come to me, all who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest.” — Matthew 11:28

Every day, these doors open for people who need hope.

Hope for a fresh start.
Hope for healing.
Hope for restoration.
Hope for what comes next.

No matter where someone has been or what they’ve walked through, we believe God is still writing their story.

That’s why we’re here.

Years ago, Chris was battling addiction in the very place where our Hope House now serves those seeking recovery.

Today, he’s on the other side of that story.

Clean, restored, and giving back to others who are walking the same road he once traveled.

Stories like Chris’s remind us that no one is too far gone, no situation is too hopeless, and recovery is possible.

Your past does not have to define your future. ❤️

When we found out Marked For Life had been voted Best Nonprofit, we were honored.

But this award isn’t really about us.

It’s about every volunteer who has given their time.
Every donor who has chosen to invest in someone’s future.
Every church, business, and community member who has walked alongside us.
And every neighbor who has trusted us with part of their story.

Thank you for believing in the mission of restoration, hope, and life change.

We are grateful for this community and excited for all that is still ahead.

Thank you for voting Marked For Life as Best Nonprofit in the county❤️

A few weeks ago, two men in our program made the decision to publicly declare their faith through baptism.

What makes moments like this so special isn’t just the water. It’s the journey that led them there.

The late nights.
The hard conversations.
The setbacks.
The victories.
The decision to keep moving forward even when it wasn’t easy.

We have the privilege of watching lives change every day, and moments like these remind us why we do what we do.

God is still working.
Lives are still being restored.
And this is only the beginning.

We’re incredibly proud of these two men and honored to walk alongside them on their journey.

“But God demonstrates His own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us.” Romans 5:8

Best Nonprofit in DeKalb County. Three years in a row.

We’re honored to have been voted Best Nonprofit in DeKalb County for 2026.

While we’re grateful for the recognition, what excites us most is what it represents.

Over the past year, we’ve answered crisis calls at all hours of the day and night. We’ve provided food, clothing, medical care, shelter, mentorship, discipleship, and practical support to neighbors facing some of the hardest seasons of their lives.

We’ve watched men move from homelessness to stability. We’ve seen families receive help during moments of crisis. We’ve seen churches, businesses, volunteers, and community partners come together to make a difference.

This award belongs to every person who has given their time, resources, prayers, and support to this mission.

Most of all, it belongs to a community that believes people are worth investing in.

Thank you to everyone who voted for us, supports us, volunteers with us, partners with us, and helps us serve our neighbors every day.

We’re grateful for the opportunity to do this work, and we’re just getting started.

Thank you, Dekalb county, for allowing us to serve.

Jacob came to the Hope House looking for a fresh start. Through hard work, accountability, classes, serving others, and staying committed to the process, he's been taking real steps forward every single day.

The Hope House isn't just a place to stay - it's a place to rebuild. Stories like Jacob's remind us that hope is possible when someone is given support, structure, and people who believe in them.
Thank you to every volunteer, donor, and supporter helping make journeys like this possible.

A vehicle may not seem life changing to some people.

But for us, this van represents opportunity.

A few days ago, we shared that Marked For Life Ministries was gifted a Chevy Express 15 passenger van through the incredible generosity of CityWide Auto Sales. Even now, we still don’t take that blessing lightly.

Since then, this van has already become part of everyday ministry life.

It’s helping carry men to work, recovery meetings, church, appointments, and new opportunities. It’s helping us continue showing up for people who are fighting for a different future.

One thing we’ve learned through ministry is that God often provides through people willing to simply say yes.

And this gift was a huge yes.

We’re incredibly thankful for every person who supports this mission, prays for these men, and believes restoration is possible. There are stories sitting inside this van that only God could write. 🤍

Today we remember the brave men and women who gave everything for our freedom. 🇺🇸

Because of their sacrifice, we are able to gather with family, serve our community, and continue the work God has called us to do every day.

From all of us at Marked For Life, we honor and remember those who will never be forgotten. ❤️
