Reminder that tomorrow is the Four Chaplains memorial service.

Don’t forget that Post 89 will be hosting our 8th year, honoring the Four Chaplains with a memorial at Minvale Baptist Church, February, 2nd at 2:00p.m. A reception will be after the program.
We are honored to have 2 time former National Chaplain Jeff Gibson as our keynote speaker, 2 amazing ladies singing patriotic songs, the Fort Payne JROTC cadets presenting the colors, and the Division 1 Honor Guard, which will present the folding of our beautiful flag, a 21 gun salute and the playing of taps and ending with the toiling of the bell by John Keefe.
If you have never experienced this humbling service, please join us. Opened to everyone, you don’t have to be in the military or a veteran. We look forward to having you there.

Unit 89 Fort Payne and Unit 215 Mentone represented Wreath’s Across America in the Fort Payne Christmas parade last night. We all had a blast and realized really fast that 600 America flags was not enough to hand out. We probably could’ve had 6000 and still ran out. It was the biggest parade I’ve ever seen, with a lot of people watching!!!! More pictures to come.
