🍂🎃 Fall Festival Fun at Fort Payne Head Start! 🎃🍂

What a wonderful day filled with laughter, creativity, and family fun! Our Fall Festival was a huge success, and we loved seeing our children and families enjoy all the exciting activities.

From face painting and coloring stations to playground adventures and special moments shared with family and friends, there were smiles around every corner! 🍁🖍️🎨

Thank you to all of our families, staff, and volunteers who helped make this event so special. Events like these remind us how important family engagement is and how strong our Head Start community truly is.

🌈✨ Chasing Rainbows Together! ✨🌈

What a colorful and fun-filled afternoon at our After-School Family Engagement Activity! 💙

Families gathered together to enjoy the beautiful story A Rainbow of My Own 🌈📚 and then put their creativity and curiosity to work with a hands-on science and art activity. Children and caregivers created their own "walking rainbow" experiment by coloring paper towels and watching the colors magically travel and blend through water. 🔬🎨

There were so many smiles, moments of discovery, and opportunities for families to learn and create together. Watching our children explore, ask questions, and proudly show off their rainbow creations was truly the highlight of the day! 🌟

A big THANK YOU to all of the families who joined us and made this event so special. Your involvement helps create meaningful learning experiences and lasting memories for our children. ❤️

💙🩺 Health Fair Success at Fort Payne Head Start! 🩺💙

On September 11, 2026, our Fort Payne Head Start families had the opportunity to participate in a wonderful Health Fair focused on the health and well-being of our children. From vision and hearing screenings to height, weight, and blood pressure checks, our students enjoyed learning about healthy habits in a fun and engaging way!

A very special THANK YOU to the Northeast Alabama Community College (NACC) Nursing Program for partnering with us and providing these valuable health screenings and educational activities. Your dedication, kindness, and professionalism made a lasting impact on our children and families.

We are grateful for community partners like NACC who help support the healthy growth and development of our youngest learners. Thank you for investing your time and talents in our Head Start family! 💙
