Good Evening Everyone,
We had a good day at the mill today. Another church picked up socks to do at their fellowship hall. We had another lady picked up to do some at home. I received a call from a lady 2 hours away that her and her husband are going to come on the 17th of April with friends to help us. The word has getting out and God is sending those who are willing to come. I can not thank Him enough for getting this going. The 3 of us have gotten then top level all in one room and ready to roll out some socks.
Please remember us in your prayers and watch as God opens up the doors to those in need of these socks.
Remember, We can make a difference 2 feet at a time.
Sincerely,
Carol Newsome Busby, Extended Arms Project, Johnathan Bond

Making a difference two feet at a time!!!!

Good Sunday Morning all our faithful followers.
As you go to church today would you ask them to stand in prayer for this Project, that all that is done is to Glorify God. That each sock gets into the hands that he knows needs them. Ask for God to send the hands needed to help prepare them for distribution so they will reach the people in need faster. Pray for our workday 4/22 that we are able to accomplish a lot. let us pray against any plans/diversions that the devil may have to come against this project. God and those in need are trusting in us all coming together in one place, in one accord in Jesus name.
Those who are coming to work are to bring their own gloves and mask if you desire to have them for the building has been closed for several years and is damp and musky.
Thank you all and don't forget to share Project Warm Feet with all your friends today. Together we can make a differance 2 feet at a time.
God Bless You all from,
Carol Newsome Busby, Extended Arms Project & Johnathan Bond

Good morning from a very cold Alabama Day! We are excited to share about the Work Day coming up on April 22, 2023 from 10am -3 pm at the Mill at 1607 Godfrey Ave NE Ft Payne al 35967. We have let many know across the country bout the socks Gifted to Extended Arms Project to be given to the homeless and needy families in communities in the US. We are aware there is a big need for socks and are making plans to help as many as we can get sock to give out. Out first plan of action is that we need help preparing these socks to be ready to give them out. For the past 6 weeks we have been working with such a small group of people that is will take us years to get them ready. We are asking those in need of socks to give out in you area to please send us some helping hands to prepare these socks. You can not imagine what we are dealing with in a 63,000 sq foot building that was left as is with socks on two levels.
If you are coming to work on 4/22 to work and want sock to take back with you please bring a church or organization letter head with you. NO EXEMPTIONS EXCEPTED!!
I need everyone to please share this site and I am going to do more updating here. The best way and quickest response is to contact me at Call or text 256-899-2560 or PM Carol Newsome Busby on FB.
With the big response that we have had of those in need that have projects they are working on in their areas, WE can not promise you 1000's of socks for everyone. What I will Promise is that we will be giving as God answers your prayers as he has answered ours. So be in prayer over the next month for your need to be meet for your area.
Now mark your calendars and save my info and start your prayer chain for these socks to be processed and given out as Gods plans.
We will make a differance 2 feet at a time. PRAISE GIVEN TO GOD!
Thank you to Johnathan Bond president and CEO and Carol Newsome Busby Project Warm Feet coordinator.

Hello everyone, just wanted to update you on PWF. We meet with the owner Tony who is the one who donated all the socks.
We have a plan in place but still a lot of work to be done. If there is anyone that would like to come and help move pallets and boxes and tables, it would be greatly appreciated. The men will be at the building tomorrow and every day thru Saturday working to get set up for workers to come on Monday. (Address will be at the end of the post )
We will be allowing socks to be picked up and paired and boxed at homes also for those who had rather work at. The boxes are big and hold about 500+ socks. A truck or suv or we will load your trunk. LOL Yes, we will still need some laundered, paired and boxed.
All socks we send out will have repack boxes also. Instructions will be given. All socks will be signed out to the pickup person. You will be instructed on the return.
Pastor, youth leaders, school organizations get your groups together to donate a day and anyone needing community service work hours are all welcome also. If you can think of anyone else send me a text.
Wear comfortable warm clothing to work there is no heating in our building but the lord has kept us all warm in there! Wear comfortable shoes for walking and standing on concrete. You are welcome to bring a stool to set on, cooler of drinks and snacks.
The address is in the area of 1617 Godfrey Ave NE Ft Payne Al.
Turn at 18th Street NE and go to the next Red light, Godfrey ave Baptist church is across the street. Turn right and you will see a big yellow building with and big FOR SALE sign in front. Turn into the parking lot just past the sign on the left. I hope to have PWF signs out.
