Congratulations on reaching a tentative agreement California Staff Organization! Now time for the members to decide. no matter what!

After six months of bargaining, we're excited to share that we have reached a tentative agreement on our successor contract with CTA!

The agreement will now go to the full CSO membership for a ratification vote.

BREAKING NEWS: The Fort Wayne Education Association, the largest local within the Indiana State Teachers Association, has approved a vote of no confidence in Executive Director Nate Williams and the elected leadership of ISTA. This difficult action was taken due to the termination of the staff union president and vice president plus the malicious misrepresentation of the FWEA president in this process. 📣 NSO is now accepting proposals for the 2027 Winter Advocacy Retreat (WAR College). This is NSO’s premier training event, with staff 👥 teaching staff 👩‍🏫, over three days. This year WAR College will be held at Caesar’s Palace 🎰 in Las Vegas, Nevada on January 14-16.

The purpose of WAR is to build solidarity 🤝, knowledge 🧠, and strengthen 💪 state affiliates. If you have a great idea 💡 to benefit our union siblings, be sure to submit your proposal 📝 using the link below ⬇️ or scan 📱 the QR code to get started. Proposals are due 🔜 July 1, 2026.

This Memorial Day, we honor the brave men 🪖 and women 🪂 who gave their lives in service to our country 🇺🇸. Their sacrifice secured the freedoms 🗽 we cherish and the rights ⚖️ we defend for working families across America. We stand in gratitude 🙏, remembrance 🫶, and solidarity 🤝 with all who have lost loved ones in service.
