🐾❤️ ANOTHER SWEET SOUL NEEDS A CHANCE! ❤️🐾

Remember the sweet Lab mix puppy we just posted who desperately needs a home? Well, she didn’t show up alone. 💔

This handsome boy arrived with her at the finder’s home, but he was too scared to even step inside. For days, he kept his distance, unsure if he could trust. Then one day, he finally found the courage to walk through that door. 🥹❤️

And what they discovered was the sweetest, calmest, most gentle boy! He appears to be a Hound mix and has such a laid-back, loving personality.

We would LOVE to help this sweet boy too and keep him from ever having to experience life in a shelter. 💔

PLEASE, can someone open their home to him? Whether you can foster or are looking for a forever companion, you could make all the difference in his life.

He was brave enough to take that first step inside. Now he just needs someone willing to give him a chance. ❤️🐾

🎉 FREEDOM RIDE 🎉

Today, this sweet girl’s entire life changed.

For days, she was so terrified that all she knew how to do was hide. She tucked herself underneath cars, pressed herself into corners, and tried to make herself invisible. Whatever she experienced before being found left her absolutely petrified of the world around her. 💔

Then she ended up at the LCDAS, scared, shut down and overwhelmed.

When we learned about her, we couldn’t let fear be the reason her story ended.

So today, Fort Paws Rescue brought her to safety. And on her freedom day, I gave this beautiful girl a new name…

🍁 MAPLE. 🍁

And let me tell you — underneath all that fear is the SWEETEST soul. 🥹🧡

Maple doesn’t know it yet, but she never has to wonder if she’ll get another tomorrow. She has time now. Time to decompress. Time to trust. Time to heal. And most importantly, time to learn what it feels like to truly be loved.

Today wasn’t just Maple’s freedom ride.

Today was the first day of the rest of her life. 😭🐾❤️

‼️🚨Toby needs help to heal 💔
On September 23rd, Toby was one of three pups scheduled to lose their lives. Two were saved, but Toby remained behind — scared, shut down, and running out of time.

We couldn’t leave him there. ❤️‍🩹

Since being saved, Toby has bonded deeply with his amazing foster mama. But the fear and trauma from his past are still there, and Toby needs help working through some behavioral challenges.

Today, Toby spent a long session with a trainer. The bill was $190, and this is only the beginning. His trainer sees what we see — underneath all that fear is a sweet, loving boy who just needs someone to help him understand that he is finally safe. 🥺

We believe in Toby. His foster believes in him. His trainer believes in him.

Now we need your help to keep fighting for him.

So far, Toby has received just two donations. We are incredibly grateful, but we desperately need more support to continue his training.

Saving a dog from euthanasia is only the first step. We have to help them heal, too. ❤️

Our sweet senior girl Nisha is still waiting for someone to choose her. 🥺
Nisha is an easygoing, laid-back girl who would love nothing more than a comfortable home, a cozy bed, and a family to spend her golden years with. She’s the kind of girl who is just happy to be by your side and enjoy the simple things in life. ❤️
Nisha does have a high prey drive, so she needs a home with no small dogs or other small animals.
She has so much love left to give and deserves to know what it feels like to have a forever family of her very own. 🏡🐾

🚨 FOSTER NEEDED ASAP! 🚨

This sweet 8–9 month old lab pup showed up at a kind finder’s home about 2 months ago. The finder took her in and has been keeping her safe, but unfortunately her landlord will no longer allow her to stay. 💔

She desperately needs a FOSTER or foster to adopt home ASAP! Without a foster, she will have nowhere to go and the finder will have no choice but to bring her to the shelter. 😭 We desperately want to prevent that from happening!

She’s still just a baby and deserves to stay somewhere safe and loved instead of ending up in an already overwhelmed shelter. 🐾🩷

🐾❤️ TOBY’S FREEDOM RIDE! ❤️🐾

Toby is officially FREE! 🥹 After spending 29 days terrified in the shelter and scheduled to be euthanized because he was so scared, this sweet 4-year-old, 32-pound boy finally got his freedom ride! ❤️🐾

And the best part? Toby is already settling into his foster home, feeling comfortable and enjoying being safe and loved 💙
