Join our team! 🌟 We are hiring a full-time, In-person, Intake Specialist to serve as the first point of contact for our clients. The ideal candidate will be compassionate, organized, and adept at communicating with people from diverse backgrounds. This role is vital to ensuring clients feel heard, supported, and guided from their very first interaction with our office!

Responsibilities include:
🔹 Answer and manage incoming calls and inquiries
🔹 Conduct initial client intake interviews and gather relevant information
🔹 Maintain accurate and organized client records
🔹 Schedule appointments and coordinate with attorneys and staff
🔹 Provide general information about services and processes
🔹 Ensure a welcoming and professional experience for all clients

Qualifications include:
🔹 Bilingual (Spanish speaking preferred)
🔹 Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
🔹 Compassionate and client-centered approach
🔹 Strong organizational and attention-to-detail skills
🔹 Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
🔹 Previous experience in a law office or legal setting (preferred)

It’s been a busy week here at Lee County Legal Aid Society!

On Tuesday, we kicked off the week at the Greater Fort Myers Chamber of Commerce Nonprofit Luncheon. Members of our team had the opportunity to connect with and learn more about the incredible nonprofit organizations serving our community.

Wednesday, our Development Director, Chief Data and Grant Analyst attended the Florida Nonprofit Training Academy, sponsored by CLA. The event provided important updates about upcoming changes to the Florida Nonprofit Act.

On Thursday, our Executive Director, Andrew, attended the Above Board Chamber of Florida Luncheon, where he gained valuable insights into AI security. We love being a part of this vibrant community! 🌟
