✈️🌎 Now Boarding: Period 2 Adventures!

Our Quality Life Center summer campers continued their airport-themed journey with hands-on learning and fun! One group explored the United States by creating maps, while another group took a creative trip to Mexico through art. 🇺🇸🇲🇽

Our younger boys moved to the beat in dance, some of our girls enjoyed time in the game room, and our teens expanded their learning by watching a documentary on Mexico.

At QLC, every “flight” is filled with creativity, culture, movement, and discovery! 🛫✨

✈️🧳 Our airport adventure is officially underway! This morning, campers kicked off the day with a fun game of Steal the Bacon, because when you're stuck at a layover, you've got to get creative with the fun! 🎉 Even our grandmas joined in on the action, making it a memorable start to our travel-themed summer camp day. ❤️

🚨✈️ Safety first at Airport Summer Camp!

Living in Southwest Florida means always being prepared for emergencies. Today, our airport travelers participated in their first fire drill, and the local fire department even stopped by to make sure it was only a drill!

As we explore the world this summer, we're also learning the importance of safety, preparedness, and community. It truly takes a village to help our young travelers soar safely. ❤️🔥

As part of our airport-themed adventure, these young travelers journeyed back in time to explore the Aztec god of fire. Inspired by what they learned, they created their own artistic interpretations through drawing.

🛒✈️ This crew's destination was the kitchen!

As part of our airport-themed adventure, our boys took a trip to the store with a budget in hand and a mission to complete. They practiced money management, selected ingredients, read directions, and measured carefully as they prepared for takeoff into destination cooking!

🛫 Final Boarding Call for Creativity! 🎨

Earlier, our younger travelers began their journey by learning the basics with a fun headband project. Today, our older girls were cleared for takeoff and challenged with a more advanced art project as they continued their airport-themed adventure!

Using their creativity, focus, and imagination, they soared through this activity and created some truly amazing artwork. We love seeing their confidence grow as they explore new destinations, learn new skills, and express themselves in unique ways.

🌎✨ Week 2 of Summer Camp is in full swing as we begin preparing for our exciting summer show, What a Wonderful World! 🎭🎶

This week, our students are exploring the rich culture and traditions of Mexico! 🇲🇽 In Art, campers are creating colorful headbands and learning about flags from countries around the world. Our middle girls are also putting their creativity to work by decorating the Mexican flag while discovering its meaning and symbolism.

We love seeing our campers learn, create, and celebrate the beauty of different cultures as we journey around the world together! ❤️🌍
