More than a legacy, HBCUs are a leadership engine.

Since the 19th century, Historically Black Colleges and Universities have expanded access to higher education and helped shape generations of leaders in the African American community. HBCUs have produced more than 50% of Black teachers, 40% of Black engineers, 60% of Black physicians, and 27% of African American STEM graduates.

We honor this legacy. We celebrate the impact of institutions that have helped shape leaders like Dr. Martin Luther King Jr., Vice President Kamala Harris, and Thurgood Marshall. Take a moment to reflect on the HBCU legacy that continues to move our community forward.

75% of mentees showed academic improvement in 2023.

That impact does not happen by chance. It happens through mentoring, volunteer service, and community investment that open doors for young men and families across Southwest Florida.

We honor the power of showing up. We celebrate the growth, leadership, and opportunity that follow. If you are looking for a way to serve, mentor. Volunteer. Donate. Every action matters as we continue building stronger communities.

Jaylen joined our mentorship program in his early high school years. What he found was more than academic guidance, he found community.

Through regular mentorship sessions, leadership workshops, and time with professional role models, Jaylen strengthened his academic performance and built the confidence to pursue higher education. In his words, “The encouragement and support from both mentors and peers within the program helped me overcome personal challenges and inspired me to pursue higher education.”

This is Mentoring The 100 Way.
Empowering youth. Building leaders. Strengthening communities.

Support the work that helps young men like Jaylen grow, lead, and give back.
