Have you seen this missing person?

Detectives said Jaedyn Procacci, 24, was last seen Wednesday morning in the area of Logan Boulevard. He was traveling in a green Ford van that was later recovered along Alligator Alley near the 74 mile marker (Turner River Road).

Detectives said Procacci is 6”1 and 210 pounds with brown hair and green eyes. A clothing description was unavailable.

UNIDENTIFIED IN FLORIDA

This unidentified female, estimated to be between 14-17 years old, was found deceased on Interstate 95 near State Road 84 in Fort Lauderdale, FL on August 3, 1982. She has remained unnamed since her death. The picture above is a facial reconstruction of what she may have looked like in life.

She had dark blond, shoulder length curly hair and no other physical identifiers. She stood about 5 ft 2 inches and may have been using the name “Donna.” Investigation led to the possibility she may have been hitchhiking and could have come from any number of states including OK, TX, and LA.

WHO KILLED KANASHA ISSAC?

On February 23, 2013, 16-year-old Kanasha Issac was shot in the parking lot of Miller’s Ale House, located at 4400 Kernel Circle in Fort Myers.

Kanasha was transported to Lee Memorial Hospital with a gunshot wound to her face. Despite efforts to save her, she succumbed to her injuries at 10:15 a.m.

More than 13 years later, Kanasha’s case remains unsolved.

Someone knows what happened that night. Someone knows who was responsible.

Nearly 21 years later, Diane Theresa Francis is still missing.

Diane was last known to be in Jacksonville, Florida, in November 2005. She was released from the Duval County jail on November 28, 2005, following an arrest for trespassing. She has not been seen or heard from since.

Recently, Diane’s daughter, Sherri, discovered this photo in her mother’s case records. The photo is listed as having been taken on November 27, 2005 — just one day before Diane’s release and disappearance.

Diane would be 57 years old today.

JUSTICE FOR STEVIE

October 3 marks six years since 36-year-old Stevie Douglas was shot and killed in Collier County, Florida.

Six years without answers.
Six years without an arrest.
Six years of Stevie’s family and loved ones waiting for justice.

Stevie was found shortly after 11 a.m. on October 3, 2020, after being shot while sitting in the driver’s seat of his white 2006 Buick Rendezvous at 2069 River Reach Drive. His vehicle subsequently struck a tree in the parking lot.

Someone knows something.

Southwest Florida Crime Stoppers is offering a cash reward of up to $5,000 for information that helps solve Stevie’s murder. Tips can be made anonymously.

As National Cold Case Month comes to a close, the cases we shared this September do not.

Throughout the month, The Florida Themis Project has used our platform to bring renewed attention to people whose families are still waiting for answers — victims of unsolved homicides, people who disappeared without a trace, and individuals who spent years without their names.

Different names. Different communities. Different stories.

But every one of them matters.

Cold Case Month may be ending, but our commitment to these cases is not. We will continue sharing their stories, supporting families, raising awareness and working alongside law enforcement and our community whenever we can help.

Please don’t stop sharing because September is over.

A person who knows something today may not have been ready to speak years ago. A photograph may reach someone who has never seen it before. A name shared one more time could reach exactly the right person.

Keep looking.
Keep sharing.
Keep talking about them.

Because their stories didn’t end when their cases went cold.
