📢Bay Oaks Recreation Center will be closed August 17th, 18th, and 19th due to the elections.

Club Rec will still be available! During the closure, Club Rec will be held at the library on the 3rd floor.

Regular business hours will resume on August 20th.

Fright Night 2026 is coming! 👻

We’re excited to start planning our annual Fright Night event! Join us on Friday, October 23rd, from 6-9pm for an evening of fun, community, and Halloween festivities.

We’re looking for:
🕸️Vendors
🎃Volunteers
🍭Trunk or treat participants
🧛Community organizations tables
🧟‍♂️Interactive tables and activities

🌴✨ Island Charm Crawl Update! ✨🌴

The crawl continues to grow!

🎉 Two new charms are will available today:
📍 The Islander Gift Gallery & Boutique
📍 The Nauti Flamingo Boutique

Be sure to add these new stops to your Island Charm Crawl adventure and collect their charms while you're out exploring Fort Myers Beach.

🎒 Round Two bags are expected to be available late next week.

💻 We're also working on a dedicated Island Charm Crawl webpage that will include participating businesses, charm locations, special instructions, updates, and more. Coming soon!

🎉Great news! Bay Oaks Recreation Center will reopen on Monday, June 8th at 8:00AM.🎉

Please note that our hours have changed for the summer. Indoor pickleball will be held on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 9:30AM to 12:00PM. Three courts will be available for indoor pickleball, and the other half of the gym will be used for summer camp activities.

Thank you for all your patience and understanding during our closure. We will be extending memberships to account for the time the facility was closed.

We look forward to seeing everyone back at Bay Oaks! 😁
