Did you know? We operate a FREE 3,200-square-foot museum located inside Lakes Park. Open 7 days a week; although we do have a shorter summer schedule starting the day schools open in August through September, when we are only open on weekends. Located in the museum is an “S” scale model train layout, as well as an overhead “G” scale train, a “live steam” scale locomotive, and artifacts including an authentic brass bell from a steam locomotive, rail tracks, lanterns, ticket punches & tools on display. There is an interactive locomotive simulator featuring the actual control console from a decommissioned diesel locomotive!
