At Holy Family Village, Inc., we believe that everyone, especially the disadvantaged deserves a safe place to call home. We are committed to providing shelter, support, and resources to them, uplifting their lives and spreading hope. Juan Cordero is a leader in the Couples for Christ Family Ministry. Andrew Catholic Church in Cape Coral and a Board Member at the Filipino-American Association of South West Florida. He’s also a member of The Knights of Columbus and a Vietnam War Veteran. He has a soft heart for veterans that are in a disadvantaged status – those who are homeless. Thus, he’s planning to convert his farm into a housing project for the disadvantaged – the Holy Family Village, Inc. He’s always been a kind man, always ready to help anyone in need. Our Faith:

Jesus, Mary, and Joseph, in you we contemplate the splendor of true love, to you we turn with trust. Holy Family of Nazareth, grant that our families too may be places of communion and prayer, authentic schools of the Gospel and small domestic Churches. Holy Family of Nazareth, may families never again experience violence, rejection and division: may all who have been hurt or scandalized find ready comfort and healing. Holy Family of Nazareth, make us once more mindful of the sacredness and inviolability of the family, and its beauty in God’s plan. Jesus, Mary, and Joseph, graciously hear our prayer, AMEN.

Are you a U.S. Military Veteran living in South Florida? Do you know of one?

PGA HOPE (Helping Our Patriots Everywhere) is a free program that provides Veterans and military personnel with an opportunity to learn the game of golf in a group setting with other Veterans.

The upcoming PGA HOPE session in Fort Myers will be at Heritage Palms Golf & Country Club starting September 11th. It will meet every Thursday from 11:30 AM - 1:30 PM until October 16th.

"Holy Family Village (HFV) is a Christ-centered 501(c)(3) nonprofit founded by U.S. Army Vietnam Veteran Juan Cordero with a mission to serve homeless veterans and individuals in need by offering more than just shelter—we offer hope, healing, and the love of Christ. Rooted in faith, HFV is building a transitional housing village on a donated 5-acre property in Cape Coral, Florida, where residents receive not only a roof over their heads, but access to support services, job training, and spiritual discipleship.

Guided by the teachings of Jesus and inspired by the call to serve “the least of these,” HFV brings together churches, volunteers, and community partners to help each person reclaim their dignity, discover purpose, and walk forward in faith. This is more than housing—it’s a haven of restoration, built on love, accountability, and God’s grace.”
