We’re heading into an exciting end to the season and have a few important updates to share:
✨ Board Elections – Get Involved!
Interested in being part of FHCSF next year? Board positions are open and will be voted on in June. If you’d like to get involved or learn more, please email [email protected] —we’d love to have you!
We’re currently looking for members interested in the following volunteer board roles:
Grant/Scholarship Chair
Oversees community grants and scholarships. Reviews applications, coordinates selection processes, and communicates with recipients.
Secretary
Records meeting minutes, prepares agendas, manages board communications, and maintains important records for continuity from year to year.
Membership Chair
Manages member sign-ups and communications, maintains the membership list, and helps welcome new members while fostering engagement.
Webmaster
Oversees FHCSF’s online presence. Maintains and updates the website, ensures information is current and accessible, and supports communication efforts through digital platforms.
Thrift Store Liaison
Acts as the connection between the board and the thrift store. Checks in regularly, supports volunteers and employees, helps address needs, and ensures smooth communication and operations.

Open in support of the Fort Hamilton Wellness Fair on Retiree Appreciation Day (RAD) —everyone is welcome to come shop!
🎉 Pop-N-Shop Event (Our Final FHCSF Event!)
Wednesday, May 6 | 5–6 PM
Join us for a fun evening at the thrift store with popcorn and snacks!
Members receive a 25% off coupon at check-in.
