Do you want to know of a great way to support our program and those whom we serve? We are currently in need of donations of salad dressing, along with mayonnaise and individual serving size bags of chips (think of those you use to pack a school lunch).

Our Sarah's House Trunk or Treat was filled with smiles, laughter, and Halloween fun! From creative trunks and exciting activities to costumes, games, and sweet treats, it was a memorable day for the families we serve.

A huge THANK YOU to our incredible staff, volunteers, and generous donors who contributed costumes, candy, and their time to make this event so special. Because of your support, our families enjoyed a fun-filled day of Halloween memories, smiles, and community spirit.

Events like these are only possible because of the amazing support of our community. Thank you for helping us bring joy, connection, and a little Halloween magic to Sarah's House! 🧡🖤

Happy Friday Junior from Sarah's House!

We're sending out high fives today to our friends with Business Volunteers Maryland and TEKsystems, who respectively facilitated and volunteered earlier today at our program. Pictured (except for the scary looking guy dangling from the tree :) ) is a hard working group! TEKsystems volunteers assisted in organizing food donations, prepping for our upcoming Trunk or Treat, and spent some quality time on our flowerbeds.

Sarah's House is truly blessed to enjoy the support of so many friends within our community--businesses, churches, families, schools, civic groups, and most everyone in better. Many hands make for light and impactful work!

We're looking for donations of Halloween costumes (infant-adult sizes) and candy donations for our upcoming Trunk or Treat! 🍬 🎃

We Need Volunteers Too! Join in the fun by decorating your trunk and handing out treats to our families! 🚗

Happy Monday from Sarah's House!

We were blessed to receive a visit from Christ Embassy Largo last week, whose congregation organized a huge donation collection of needed items for our program. Their generosity included pillows, paper goods, diapers, and associated toiletries. Sarah's House is so fortunate to enjoy the support of so many wonderful community partners!

Sarah's House loves Indian Creek School!

Earlier this week, some of their students stopped by for a visit and tour, in an effort to learn more about our program and how they can support those experiencing homelessness. Sarah's House never does our work alone, and the partnership with schools, churches, businesses, civic groups, and families is so important for the success of our clients.

Sarah's House loves the Severn School!

For the past several years, their students have created blankets for our kids and taken property tours to increase their understanding of Sarah's House and those whom we serve. We are so blessed to enjoy the partnership of so many schools in our community, that provide an abundance of love and support.

A big thank you to the Severn School and for all of our friends for stepping up and reaching out!

Happy Monday from Sarah's House!

Gratitude is the well deserved theme for today, as we stopped by the Niftee Thriftee Shoppe in Pasadena to personally thank them (along with some tasty cookies!) for all the generous support provided to Sarah's House over the past several years. Niftee Thriftee, which has been in operation since 1973, is run through Magothy United Methodist Church in Pasadena.

Sarah's House is truly blessed to enjoy the support of so many friends in the community. Many hands don't only make for light work, but they help to change lives.
