We rescue & transition displaced domestic animals into their ideal homes. We are a 100% foster-based rescue located in Colorado.

Bounce Animal Rescue is a nonprofit organization focused on rescuing and transitioning displaced domestic animals into their ideal homes. We rescue animals from in and out of state shelters, hoarding cases, owner surrenders, and numerous other at-risk situations. We place heavy emphasis on quality veterinary care, nutrition, spay/neuter programs, education, and compatible adoptions. Bounce Animal Rescue was founded in 2015 as the need for placement and rescue for at-risk displaced animals grew in the United States. As of 2024, we have grown to 300+ foster homes and volunteers, and have rescued over 9,000 animals. On average, 110+ animals are in our care at any given time. Throughout Bounce's tenure, we have partnered and collaborated with numerous veterinary clinics, transport partners, rescues, shelters, trainers, behaviorists, and groomers around the state. We are also members of the Northern Colorado Regional Animal Welfare Coalition and Animal Welfare Association of Colorado. Foster-based organizations, like Bounce Animal Rescue, play a critical role in supporting high-intake shelters by taking in their most vulnerable populations such as seniors, medical cases, long-stays, and juveniles. Bounce Animal Rescue is an IRS 501(C)(3) non-profit organization, tax ID # 47-5045769. We operate solely on monetary and in-kind donations, fundraising, and grants. We receive no government funding. Jonah has a remarkable talent for making everyone he meets feel like the most important person in the room. Spend five minutes with him, and you’ll start to wonder if you’re a celebrity.

Meet Peter, Claire, Samuel, Edgar, and Bailey! These five Shepherd mix puppies are currently applying for their first full-time jobs: Beloved Family Dog. Fortunately, their résumés are already impressive:

• Extensive experience in cuddling, playing with other dogs, entertaining kids, and being directly involved in whatever the humans are doing
• Advanced proficiency in napping
• Notable attributes: smart, social, affectionate, and occasionally lacking in coordination
• Enthusiasm for the position: excessive
• Salary requirements: food, affection, continued training, and a competitive benefits package consisting of toys, pepperoni, and preferred seating on the couch

We know what you’re thinking. Yes, P**f always looks like she just discovered electricity. The hair may suggest a tiny mad scientist with several experiments currently underway, but her research interests are limited to making friends, having fun, and optimal cuddle conditions.

P**f is a friendly, affectionate, and goofy one-year-old Poodle/Schnauzer mix who gets along with anything with a pulse. Dogs? Cats? Kids? Obsessed with them all. She’s a big fan of playing chase in the backyard, neighborhood walks, playing with her people, and investigating anything that looks worthy of further research. She even has an adorable little skip-trot when she’s on the move, which feels entirely appropriate for a dog who looks like this.

Despite what the hair would have you believe, P**f isn’t operating at maximum voltage all day. Give her some playtime and a little adventure, and she’s more than happy to settle in for some serious cuddling afterward. She’s eager to please, potty and kennel trained, and strikes a pretty great balance between ready-for-fun and perfectly-happy-to-relax.

Meet Spencer, Shiloh, Sheldon, and Sable! These four Pug/Shepherd mix puppies are officially available for adoption, and they’re making a pretty compelling case for clearing some space on your couch.

Spencer is equal parts adventurer and accomplished snuggler. He loves exploring and being part of the action, but once the fun winds down, he’s perfectly content being scooped up for some quality cuddle time.

Shiloh likes a proper introduction before committing to a friendship. Give him a minute, though, and he’s all toys, tug, belly rubs, and affection.

Sable may briefly pretend to be shy, but the act doesn’t last long. She’s social, affectionate, curious, and usually has a game to play, a toy to show off, or both.

And then there’s Sheldon, who apparently missed the family meeting where everyone agreed to look like a Pug mix. He leaned heavily into the Shepherd genetics and has no regrets. He’s clever, curious, and has made it his personal mission to locate every stick in the yard.

Meet sisters Amy and Becca. Apparently, good looks run in the family. Being boring, however, does not.

Amy is the resident adventurer. She’s energetic, curious, affectionate, and always ready to investigate whatever you’re doing. She loves to play, explore, and soak up as much attention as anyone is willing to give her. And with a face like that, she rarely has trouble finding it.

Becca is outgoing, playful, and firmly believes strangers are just friends who haven’t met her yet. She’s always ready for a game or a new adventure, but she also knows a good lap and some undivided attention when she sees it.

Both girls are looking for families ready for plenty of play, adventure, and affection while helping them grow into the wonderful dogs they’re well on their way to becoming. Good looks, great personalities, and absolutely no shortage of entertainment. Genetics understood the assignment.
