SEEK & BELIEVE•FAITH WILL RECEIVE
~Capt. Christopher Rockwell

"And it is impossible to please God without faith. Anyone who wants to come to him must believe that God exists and that he rewards those who sincerely seek him." ~Hebrews 11:6 NLT

Hebrews 11:6 reminds us that faith drives a life that pleases God. We approach God believing He is real & that He rewards everyone who sincerely seeks Him.

Biblical faith goes beyond agreeing that God exists. We express faith through trust, relationship, & obedience. We place our confidence in Jesus Christ & continue to follow Him, especially when the road ahead looks unclear.

We sometimes wonder, "Is my faith strong enough?" Hebrews does not call us to manufacture perfect confidence. It calls us to turn to the One Who remains perfectly faithful. We rest our hope not in the strength of our believing but in the character & grace of the God we believe in.

Scripture says that God rewards those who earnestly seek Him, but He does not promise that faith will bring comfort, wealth, or a carefree life. Instead, He rewards us with Himself, His saving grace, transforming presence, guidance, & the growing likeness of Christ within us.

Faith transcends mere profession & becomes practice. As we continually trust Christ, the Holy Spirit actively works within us, shapes our desires, strengthens our obedience, & leads us toward holy living.😇

ACTION STEPS
So, how can we live out Hebrews 11:6 in our daily lives?🤔

1. Seek God before seeking solutions.
When a concern arises today, resist the impulse to rely only on our own understanding. Pause, pray, & bring the situation honestly before God. Ask Him directly, “Lord, how would You have us respond?”

2. Put faith into one obedient action.
Choose one concrete way to respond to God today: forgive someone, encourage a discouraged person, serve someone in need, make restitution, spend time in Scripture, or follow through on something God has already placed on our hearts. We show our faith by turning trust into obedience.

LET'S PRAY!
SOVEREIGN LORD
We believe in You, but our faith sometimes hesitates & wanders. Draw us closer to Jesus & teach us to seek You with sincere hearts. Through Your Holy Spirit, strengthen our faith so that our belief actively shapes how we live. Help us trust You when we cannot see the outcome, obey You when the way costs us, & reflect Christ’s love & holiness in our daily lives. Let our deepest desire & highest reward be to know You more fully & walk faithfully with You.
In Jesus’ Name, we pray.🙏🏻
AMEN

CLOSING THOUGHT
Faith does not require us to see the whole road. We trust the God Who walks it with us. We seek God faithfully, follow Christ obediently, & let the Spirit transform each step.✝️

EPHESIANS 2:7 NLT
"So God can point to us in all future ages as examples of the incredible wealth of his grace and kindness towards us, as shown in all he has done for us who are united with Christ Jesus."😇

THOUGHTS:
Paul’s teachings reveal that salvation is not just about escaping the consequences of sin but about embodying the essence of God. Those renewed in Christ become living evidence of the infinite grace available to all. We are summoned to manifest grace through our salvation, transformation, & actions. The kindness of God in Christ should be mirrored in our righteous living, empathetic service, & affection for those who are often ignored.

In Ephesians, a deep revelation emerges: our lives, once redeemed, are imbued with a purpose that transcends time. God’s grace is intended to radiate through us, guiding others along their journey. Each life transformed by grace becomes a compelling testament, proclaiming that no sinner is beyond God’s limitless mercy & no circumstance is beyond His extraordinary power to redeem.

Today, we must ask ourselves: If someone looked at our lives, would they see evidence of the kindness of Christ?🤔

LET'S PRAY!
SOVEREIGN LORD
Lord, we thank You together for the grace we share in Christ. Continue to shape us as one body, that our lives may overflow with mercy, our hands extend love, & our service bear witness to Him. Please form us into a holy & compassionate people, so that all who see us may glimpse Your grace. In the name of Jesus, we pray as one.🙏🏻
AMEN

BENEDICTION
May the God who has made us alive with Christ pour out His grace upon each of us. May He shape us together in holiness, weaving our lives into a shared testimony of His love. As we go into the coming week, may we be living witnesses of His kindness, carrying with us the grace & peace of our Lord Jesus Christ.💜
AMEN

DEATH LOST ITS STING:
“So when this corruptible shall have put on incorruption, & this mortal shall have put on immortality, then shall be brought to pass the saying that is written, Death is swallowed up in victory. O death, where is thy sting? O grave, where is thy victory?” (1 CORINTHIANS 15:54–55)

REFLECTION:
Jesus Christ conquered sin, death, & the grave through His atoning sacrifice & glorious resurrection. Because He lives, death does not have the final word. In Christ, we receive the hope of resurrection & eternal life with God.

One day, God will clothe our mortal bodies with immortality. Until then, He calls us to live faithfully, pursue holiness, love generously, & serve others in Christ’s name. Through the Holy Spirit, God transforms our hearts, strengthens our faith, & empowers us to become more like Jesus.

We do not face suffering, grief, or death without hope. We place our confidence in our risen Savior. Christ has won the victory, the grave cannot hold us, & eternal life awaits all who remain faithful to Him.

Today, we boldly proclaim: Death is swallowed up in victory! Because Christ lives, we live with hope!✝️

LET’S PRAY:
SOVEREIGN LORD, we thank You for loving us & giving Yourself for our salvation. Thank You, Jesus, for conquering sin, death, & the grave.

Fill us with Your Holy Spirit. Strengthen our faith, transform our hearts, & lead us in holiness. Help us love generously, serve humbly, & follow You faithfully each day.

When we face sorrow, suffering, or death, remind us that Christ has already won the victory. Keep our hearts faithful to You & fill us with the hope of resurrection & eternal life in Your presence.

In Jesus’ name we pray.🙏🏻
AMEN

BENEDICTION:
May the risen Christ strengthen our faith, fill our hearts with resurrection hope, & empower us through the Holy Spirit to live holy, courageous, & compassionate lives. May we carry His light into our world, proclaim His saving grace through our words & actions, & remain faithful until the day we stand victorious with Him in eternity.

Christ lives. Death is defeated. Our hope is secure in Him.

May we have a blessed week. 😇
