We had a great meeting on September 24th. Lion Charles from the Red Feather Lakes Lions presented our club with a Certificate of Appreciation for our help with their pancake breakfast on July 5th. They were able to raise almost $2000 with our assistance!

Our speaker was Elizabeth Alvarado from Off the Hook Arts. Off the Hook Arts is a Fort Collins-based nonprofit organization founded in 2012 that enriches children's lives through free and low-cost music education while hosting intimate classical, jazz, and world music concerts. Our $500 donation will allow them to buy music instruments for some of the children.

Ensight Skills Center just celebrated their 25th anniversary! Ensight was founded and funded by the Fort Collins Lions Club and is the state's only fully comprehensive low-vision rehabilitation program. Our club assisted in the celebration by helping cook and serve burgers and hot dogs to all the guests who stopped by to share the day. Way to go!!!

Sunday, July 5, our Lions Club took our pancake crew to Red Feather Lakes to do a pancake breakfast for the Red Feather Lakes Lions Club. They provided a great facility and manned the money and inside clean-up. This is a major fundraiser for the Red Feather Lakes Lions Club and we were happy to assist! We served over 250 people and more than half of them came back for seconds - and thirds!! Good job, Lions!!
