We are honored to serve the City of Forney and Kaufman County ESD #6. FPFFA is made up of the Firefighters, Driver Operators, and Fire Lieutenants of the Forney Fire Department. Central Station - located near downtown Forney, has a crew of 5 personnel each day, and houses an Engine, a Tanker, a Medic, and a Brush truck. Station 2 - located on the North side of town, has a crew of 6 personnel each
day, and houses a Ladder truck, an Engine, a Medic, a Brush truck, and a CareFlite ambulance. An additional CareFlite ambulance is housed at the old volunteer station on Windy Ln. The Forney Fire Department responds to a wide variety of emergencies such as structure fires, grass fires, motor vehicle accidents, technical rescues, gas leaks, hazardous material incidents, medical emergencies, and any other incident that could be described as serious, unexpected, dangerous and requires immediate action. The Forney Fire Department also provides non-emergency services such has fire prevention, public education, and station tours.
