Jesus is the Savior we all need—but often the Savior we do not want. In John 10:22-42, we see the Pharisees demanding a Savior on their own terms, only to reject the one standing right in front of them.

Sound familiar? Whether it is a struggling marriage, a wound from injustice, or a season of grief, we too can find ourselves wanting Jesus to work our way rather than His.

But He is the Good Shepherd. He holds you in His hands, and the Father holds you in His. No one can sn**ch you away (John 10:28-29). His path may seem unlikely, but it leads to life that is exceedingly above and beyond anything we can imagine. Bow your will to His. The abundant life is waiting.
