Today is National Coaches Day! ❤️

At FYAA, our coaches are so much more than the people who run practices and stand on the sidelines on game day. They teach, encourage, organize, cheer, challenge and help create the experiences our kids will remember long after the season ends.

Most importantly, they volunteer their time to make youth sports possible for our community.

To all of our FYAA coaches — past and present — THANK YOU for showing up for our athletes and investing in our kids!

Have a coach who has made a difference for your child? Give them a shoutout in the comments! 👏

🎓 From FYAA fields and courts to their next big chapter!

Earlier this year, we were proud to name Elizabeth Johnson and Beckett Gilleland as the first recipients of the FYAA Senior Scholarship, each receiving $2,500 toward their continued education.

Now, both have officially started their freshman year at NC State University! ❤️🐺

Elizabeth and Beckett grew up participating in FYAA sports, and we are proud to see where their hard work, dedication and involvement have taken them. We hope their journey is also a reminder to the young athletes in our programs today: the lessons, friendships and experiences you’re building through youth sports can stay with you long after your FYAA playing days are over.

Please join us in congratulating Elizabeth and Beckett and wishing them a great first year at NC State! 🎉

We are proud to have them as part of the FYAA story and excited to see where they go in this next chapter.
