Sport reveals character. Perhaps even more true.

More Than a Game is more than a “how to” playbook. Rather, the 60 sports-related stories reflect the real-life challenges of commitment, difficulty, pain and suffering, team dynamics, perseverance, submission to the process, keeping perspective, motivation, failure, balance, and other key elements necessary for a fulfilling athletic experience.

Designed for athletes and teams with a passion for pursuing excellence, five stories pertinent to each of the twelve highlighted character skills are grouped together, making this a perfect 12-week Monday through Friday endeavor. At the end of each story, the athlete is given opportunity to write a response that makes the application of principle personal.

12 weeks and 60 real-life stories assist each athlete and team, regardless of age or ability, to optimize their impact on and off the field of play.
