Palliative care helps patients live as comfortably as possible while navigating serious illness.

Meet Kristin. Part of our palliative care team, Kristin has been with us for 13 months. She shares that it is an honor to work with patients and families facing serious illness during such a difficult time in their lives. One of the most meaningful parts of her work is having honest goals-of-care conversations and seeing a patient’s quality of life improve through palliative care. She is passionate about aligning each care plan with the patient’s goals and ensuring the right level of care at the right time. Kristin strives to make sure every patient’s voice is heard and their wishes are honored.

Working in palliative care has also shaped how she lives her own life—encouraging her to appreciate every moment. Outside of work, Kristin enjoys unwinding at the beach, cheering on Florida Gator sports (Go Gators!), and getting lost in a good suspense novel.
