Something exciting is coming to Second Street in Rutherfordton!

Rutherford Housing Partnership is proud to be collaborating with the Town of Rutherfordton, Gateway Wellness Foundation, Isothermal Community College, and Foothills Regional Commission on a HUD HOME project that will bring new affordable housing to an currently empty lot on Second Street.

Plans are underway to construct a duplex, creating two new affordable housing units, while Isothermal Community College will build an Accessory Dwelling Unit (ADU) on the property. The ADU will provide an additional affordable housing opportunity while also giving ICC students valuable hands-on construction experience.

From an empty lot to three new affordable housing units, this project demonstrates what is possible when community partners work together to invest in housing and the future of Rutherford County.

We’re excited to see construction get underway and look forward to sharing the progress!

Help us welcome Klinnin Carson to the RHP family!

We’re excited to introduce Klinnin Carson, our new Administrative Assistant at Rutherford Housing Partnership!

Klinnin brings a warm, welcoming personality and a heart for family and community to our team. When she’s not keeping things moving at the office, you might find her singing, playing or coaching softball, or spending time with the people who mean the most to her.

She is a proud mom of two, and says family is one of the most important parts of her life.

We’re so happy to have Klinnin as part of the RHP team and look forward to all she’ll bring to our mission and the families we serve.
