Kevin is also the NC District 1 Assistant District Administrator for Little League, and we appreciate everything he does.
McDowell County Parks and Recreation would like to congratulate the first ever recipient of the MCP&R Volunteer of the Year Award, Mr. Kevin Price.
Mr. Price serves as the president for McDowell County Little League where he receives no monetary compensation for his myriad duties. This season, he selflessly committed more than 250 hours to the success of the entire league. Mr. Price was integral to the 2023 season which was the largest in the history of the county and resulted in 7 district titles, the most titles earned in any single season.
We appreciate all of our volunteers but we are especially proud to honor Mr. Price on this occasion.
