🌟 VOLUNTEER SPOTLIGHT: KELLY 🌟
Since 2017, Kelly has been a familiar face at Rutherford County Habitat for Humanity. What started with helping wherever she was needed has grown into years of dedicated service, countless volunteer hours, and a willingness to take on just about anything that comes her way.
Kelly began volunteering through painting and other hands-on projects, always ready to jump in wherever an extra set of hands was needed. She later became a Family Advocate, supporting our Habitat families and helping them along their journey to homeownership.
Then came eBay.
When we asked Kelly to take over Habitat’s eBay operations, she was the first to admit that eBay wasn’t exactly her area of expertise. But Kelly has never been one to back down from a challenge. Her attitude was simple: “I’ll figure it out.”
And she did.
Kelly taught herself the ins and outs of eBay and turned it into something she could truly excel at. Today, she manages our eBay operations with incredible attention to detail, patience, and determination. Her hard work has helped increase our eBay sales by 50% from 2023 to 2026!
Kelly cares about doing things the right way. She takes the time to make sure customers are taken care of, and every order receives the attention it deserves. Her dedication has earned her rave reviews from customers and has helped make Habitat’s eBay presence something we can be proud of.
Most of all, Kelly represents what we love about our volunteers. She is willing to learn, willing to help, and willing to step outside of her comfort zone when Habitat needs her.
Kelly, thank you for nearly a decade of service, dedication, and heart. We are incredibly grateful for everything you do for Rutherford County Habitat for Humanity and for the people we serve!
