You can go skydiving just fine without a parachute. But the landing is going to hurt more than you can ever imagine. Jesus is far more important to your end than a parachute is to a skydiver. Natural death is but a moment, but eternal death is forever.

That is why I tell you not to worry about everyday life-whether you have enough food and drink, or enough clothes to wear. Isn't life more than food, and your body more than clothing?"

"Look at the birds. They don't plant or harvest or store food in barns, for your heavenly Father feeds them. And aren't you far more valuable to him than they are? Can all your worries add a single moment to your life? And why worry about your clothing? Look at the lilies of the field and how they grow. They don't work or make their clothing, yet Solomon in all his glory was not dressed as beautifully as they are. And if God cares so wonderfully for wildflowers that are here today and thrown into the fire tomorrow, he will certainly care for you. Why do you have so little faith?"

"So don't worry about these things, saying, 'What will we eat? What will we drink? What will we wear?' These things dominate the thoughts of unbelievers, but your heavenly Father already knows all your needs. Seek the Kingdom of God above all else, and live righteously, and he will give you everything you need. So don't worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will bring its own worries. Today's trouble is enough for today."

Money is neither good nor evil, money is neutral. Money is simply a means of exchange. But the love of money is called idolatry by God. He said that you will either serve it, or Him. You can't do both. A sad truth is that most people serve money, yet they say they serve God. Money can be a wonderful servant, but it's a horrible master.

If you ask people about their money (giving), they'll get very upset with you real quick, because you're meddling with their God. But if you only work to pay your bills, and don't use money for the Kingdom, then the truth is that money is your god, and not Jesus. If everything gets paid first before you consider giving, money is your god and not Jesus. If ministries that you are called to help are struggling to get by, and you are never moved to give, then money is your god and not Jesus.

I know this sounds harsh, but the truth sets us free. Before we can address a problem we have to admit that there is a problem. If God isn't first in your finances then finances are your god. I didn't say that, Jesus said that. Either you serve Jesus or you serve money. You can't serve both. Either you serve money, or money serves you.

The reason that so many people worry about their provision is that they have never trusted their provision to God. They've never dedicated the first portion of their income (tithe) to the preaching of the Gospel. They use everything that they get on themselves and there's never enough left to go around.

But Jesus tells us that if giving isn't the first thing you do with your money, then you will always lack. You will always worry about tomorrow's provision. And that fear of lack will keep you in bo***ge, and the Gospel will be hindered. The number one way that Satan hinders the preaching of the Gospel and the advancement of the Kingdom is by shutting down the financial supply lines of ministry.

My word for us all today is "repent". No one person is required to pay for it all, but every person is required to do their part. We will all stand before Jesus one day and be judged for how we stewarded finances for Him. We are each required to steward our portion.

And if you'll be faithful with what God has asked you to do with the little that you have, then God will increase you. So make the quality decision today to give Him the first, and then God is right to increase you more as He promised in His Word. Seek Him and His things first with your finances, and all those things that you were worried about will be added unto you.

We know what real love is because Jesus gave up his life for us. So we also ought to give up our lives for our brothers and sisters. If someone has enough money to live well and sees a brother or sister in need but shows no compassion-how can God's love be in that person?

As you know, you Philippians were the only ones who gave me financial help when I first brought you the Good News and then traveled on from Macedonia. No other church did this. Even when I was in Thessalonica you sent help more than once. I don't say this because I want a gift from you. Rather, I want you to receive a reward for your kindness."

Friday is offering day.

It's an indisputable truth that ministries require the support and help of others to accomplish what God has asked them to do for the preaching of the Gospel. But God has ordained that those who faithfully partner financially with the minister should also receive a reward from that partnership.

"1 Corinthians 9:13-14 KJV
Do ye not know that they which minister about holy things live of the things of the temple? and they which wait at the altar are partakers with the altar? Even so hath the Lord ordained that they which preach the gospel should live of the gospel."

God ordained it that when people partner with the minister financially, that they themselves are marked to receive help in their own things. It's the law of sowing and reaping, and it's an immutable law that won't change as long as the earth remains.

"Genesis 8:22 KJV
While the earth remaineth, seedtime and harvest, and cold and heat, and summer and winter, and day and night shall not cease."

If you will find a minister and help them to accomplish what God has called them to do, God promised to partner with you to help you succeed in the things that you are called to do. It's a victorious cycle created by God to bless all His children in the earth.

"Proverbs 11:25 NLT
The generous will prosper; and those who refresh others will themselves be refreshed."

These scriptures are true and faithful and will never pass away. God changes not. Make the commitment today to partner financially with the preaching of the Gospel, and watch what God will do in your own things.
