Dr. Jeremy Barrier, HCU Professor of Biblical Literature, was awarded an Alexander von Humboldt Fellowship to research early Christian Apocryphal Gospels at the University of Regensburg from May 1 to August 2. He presented his research at the Beyond Canon Centre for Advanced Studies at the University of Regensburg in Regensburg last Wednesday. This week, Dr. Barrier presented his research to the Protestant Faculty at the University of Vienna in Vienna.
Dr. Barrier will be spending the weekend in Belgium and the Netherlands, followed by a visit to western France. He plans to visit churches and church members in Eindhoven and Dordrecht, as well as La Chapelle-au-Riboul. On Sunday, he will be preaching and teaching the Bible class, in addition to attending other church functions at the Eindhoven Church of Christ.
We are proud to see HCU represented on the international stage through Dr. Barrier's fellowship and service. Join us in wishing him safe travels as he continues sharing his knowledge and faith across Europe!
