The bird in the nest above the door? Her babies hatched! And there are two of them. They are playing so much, and knocking the bird feeders as they do - I cannot catch them on camera. But they are singing as they do! 🐥🩵

Tuesday! School might be getting out, but we are still hitting the books! (I can't wait for everyone else to see them. If I saw them in a shop, I wouldn't pass them up, and I bet you wouldn't either!)💥

We had an absolute fabulous time with the always brilliant instructor Jenn Glenn last night in our Berry Bowl making class. I can't wait for our next class at the Studio. It was such a good time!!! Watch this page, something else will happen soon!🔍💗

We spoke about the artist Wassily Kandinsky in class on Tuesday and about how he had synesthesia!

Synesthesia is when your brain mixes up your senses, like seeing colors when you hear music, tasting words, or seeing letters as specific colors. It happens because of extra connections in the brain. It is not a disorder, but a unique way of experiencing the world, making everyday things like letters or numbers feel colorful or have personalities.

Kandinsky called his, his 'noisy paintbox" and he, along wiith some of his artist counterparts, started the modern art movement with the way they saw the world and chose to represent it!

Can you feel the music and life in his work?
